Step 1: Shaping the Clay
Our journey begins with raw clay, kneaded and centered on the wheel. The form takes shape through touch, guided by years of skill and subtle movements.
Step 2: Drying and Trimming
After shaping, the piece must dry slowly to prevent cracking. Once firm, we trim the base and refine the details for a clean finish.
Step 3: Glazing and Firing
Each piece is bisque fired, glazed by hand, and then fired again at high temperatures. This double-firing process strengthens the ceramic and brings out the glaze’s final texture and color.
